City Foods is a growing food cooperative planned for the Greater Lafayette community.  Community members have shown great support for a local grocery since our initial call out in February 2008 and we are working to make our co-op and store as green as possible! Our main focus is sourcing local products (produce, meat, dairy, etc) from suppliers within a close proximity of Tippecanoe County, Indiana.  We perform constant research to make sure the closest and most healthful and natural foods are available to you.  Although it would be nice to have the whole store certified organic, our main focus is centered on local rather than organic. City Foods is working hard to develop a storefront in downtown Lafayette due to the ever-increasing demand, growth in number of residents and the current absence of a local grocery store.  We have been diligently working since June 2008 to bring City Foods to you by late summer of 2010.  Fore more information please visit our ever-changing timeline and committee member biographies.
